📆Highlights of Resistance Training at the Off-Season Camp / Week 2
🏒2 NHL, 15 KHL, 13 VHL, and 6 MHL players. 🦵🏻As most of them are pretty young, at this stage in the gym the focus is on hypertrophy. 📈 Starting with concentric exercises at intensity level of 75% [1], gradual increase in intensity will allow the body to adapt to external weights and enhance the likelihood that maximum strength training in mesocycle 3 will not only be effective but also safe.
📋Methods of Resistance Training / Week 2
Hypertrophy - Intensity 75% - 10 Repetitions x 3 Sets - Rest 30-90 seconds [1]
