Designing efficient training program

 

❓People often ask about opinions on specific training methods or exercises. Without a specific goal, this question is meaningless 🤯

👷🏼‍♂️It's like asking how you feel about frame construction. Good. What about monolithic construction? Also good.

🔨What's better: a hammer or pliers?

⚠️To build an effective training process, you first need to set a specific goal. To correctly define and subsequently achieve it, you need:

✅Step 1. Analyze the sport demands and determine the key requirements for athletes' physical fitness;

✅Step 2. Test the athlete;

✅Step 3. Determine his/her physical fitness strengths and weaknesses;

✅Step 4. Set a specific goal, which will most likely improve performance in competitions;

✅Step 5. Determine the training methods and means that will effectively help to achieve this goal for a given athlete, taking into account his/her gender, age, training experience, injury history, available training time, and available equipment;

✅Step 6. Implement the training program into the training process;

✅Step 7. Conduct posttesting to evaluate the efficiency of the training program;

✅Step 8. Make adjustments to the training process (if necessary).
