💪🏻Eccentric and Isometric training in the annual schedule

💪🏻Eccentric loading is efficient for muscle hypertrophy. The safest time to use it is the off-season, because, as it is known, slow eccentric exercises cause damage of muscle fibers. 🤕Their use during the regular season is risky since hockey players can sustain injuries. And this will be our fault.

❤️‍🩹Isometric loading, on the other hand, does not induce muscular damage and instead promotes the repair of connective and muscle tissues, making it suitable for use throughout the year with both healthy and injured athletes. For the above reason, to the best of my knowledge, there are at least two NHL teams that use mainly isometric training throughout the entire regular season.
